Mrs. Heidi Popham; Fourth Grade

Mrs. Heidi Popham will be the new 4th grade teacher starting her first year at Evant, and her 4th year of teaching. She has her Bachelors of Science Degree in Education, with certifications to also teach Special Education in Early Childhood through 4th grade as well as a Generalist with ESL from Tarleton State University. She is originally from Throckmorton and has taught at Meridian and Garner.

" I am so excited to be teaching at Evant ISD! I just recently got married on June 25, 2011 to Coach Jake Popham. I am thrilled to be working at the same school as my husband. We live in Evant. We do not have any children yet! We have two crazy dogs, Ellie and Bo. I am very close to my family. My parents were educators at Throckmorton ISD for 25 years. When my youngest brother graduated high school, they moved to Meridian. My dad is the Superintendent at Meridian ISD and my mom teaches 1st grade at the elementary. I am thankful that we are able to live close to my family. God has blessed me with a wonderful family all around!"

Mrs. Popham's 4th grade class earned a football party in November for bringing in the most box tops and Campbell's soup labels for the PTO contest.

Mrs. Popham will be the JH Cheer Sponsor in 2012-2013
