Ms. Cheyenne Cook » Welcome

Hello, Elk Family!
I am Cheyenne Cook, and I am the PK-12 Principal at Evant ISD. I am very grateful and blessed to be able to continue to work at Evant ISD in my new position as the campus principal.
For two years, I had the privilege of being the Secondary English Teacher and Gifted & Talented Teacher at Evant ISD. Prior to becoming an Elk, I worked in Bluff Dale ISD as the Secondary English teacher. I am starting my eighth year in education. My experience includes serving students in elementary and secondary education in rural school districts. I have served as a High School UIL Coordinator, taught K-12 Gifted & Talented students, sponsored student organizations such as Student Council and the National Honor Society, and was a JH and HS cheerleading sponsor.
My educational leadership background includes a Master of Education in Educational Administration with Principal Certification, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Instructional Design and Technology, and a Bacher of Arts in English all from Tarleton State University. I am currently enrolled at Tarleton State University pursuing a Doctorate in Educational Administration with Superintendent Certification. I am also a member of administrative and leadership associations.
I am a dog mom of two Miniture Schnauzers, and Australian Sheperd, and a Cowboy Corgi.
