Dr. Jennifer Ingram, Superintendent

Dr. Jennifer Ingram has been part of the Elk family since 2017, serving as PK-12 Principal and Assistant Superintendent/Director of Finance before being named Superintendent in September 2022.
A Hamilton native, Dr. Ingram graduated from Hamilton High School in 1991. She earned a BS in Mathematics and an M.Ed. in Guidance & Counseling from Tarleton State University, and went on to complete an Ed.D. in Educational Administration & Leadership from Texas A&M University.
Dr. Ingram has dedicated her career to public education since 1995, beginning as a math teacher and later serving as a school counselor for more than 15 years in Hico ISD, Hamilton ISD, and Central Texas Shared Services. She also held leadership roles as High School Principal at Bosqueville ISD and Assistant Principal at Gatesville Intermediate School before joining Evant ISD.
She is married to Rocky and together they have four children—Matthew (and wife Chelsea), Riley (and wife Elizabeth), Kyndall (and husband Aaron), and Cason—and four grandchildren: Luke, Brady, Walker, and Blakely.
Dr. Ingram is proud to be an Evant Elk and honored to serve the Evant community, along with the staff and students of Evant ISD.
