On Monday 11/10 our two LDE teams we trained went to Whitney ISD and competed at district.
The Agriculture Skills team consisted of Bryson Bates, Barton Gaisbauer and Kaine Logan. The skill the presented was how to sweat copper pipe. They finish 5th place.
The Greenhand Creed speaker was Amethyst Garn and she finished 8th place.
Some of you know this already, but those kids not only competed against other 1A schools, but also 2A, 3A and 4A surrounding schools. This was also their first time to compete in anything like this!
They did a great job representing Evant and I’m so proud of the work they have put into this competition over the past several weeks. #stayELKstrong
