HS Track: The HS District Track Meet date has been changed from 4/8 to 4/9. The date is reflected on the Public Calendar.

Little Dribblers: This Saturday, 2/7, Evant will be hosting the little dribblers basketball games. Elementary Awards: rescheduled Elementary 9 weeks awards will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 4th at 2:30 in the gym.

HS Boys Basketball: Rescheduled -HS JV & V Boys Basketball @ Gholson originally scheduled for Tuesday, will be played on 1/29 in Gholson at 7:30pm

JH Basketball has been canceled for Thursday 1/29 due to shortage of referees.

Food pantry: We will open the food pantry on 1/28 from 12 - 3 pm.

Powerlifting to Hico: Come out and support our athletes that are participating in the Hico powerlifting meet 1/22

The basketball game for this Friday 1/33 has been moved up to 4 pm.

School closure- event update: -JH basketball games canceled -Varsity basketball still on schedule but we are looking at moving that time up on Friday possibly -Blood drive canceled -Staff inservice Monday is still scheduled at this time

Coryell County Youth Fair: Images of Isela's projects
--Isela R. has 2 Grand Champion Home EC entries. She also placed 2nd in several events in the horse show. The junior class was super competitive.

Basketball schedule updates: Tuesday at Jonesboro JV and Varsity boys starting at 5 PM Thurs. 1/15- JH girls-only home vs Aquilla at 5:30 PM Fri. 1/16- JH boys JV and Varsity boys home vs Aquilla starting at 5 PM

HS Basketball: Due to scheduling conflicts there is no JV game 1/9 vs Oglesby. There is only a Varsity game starting at 6 PM.

Hamilton County Show (4H & FFA) Results 1/6; Home Economics:
*Addilynn Buck got 1st place with her cake.
*Forrest Gaines got 1st with his cookie and 4th with his candied pecans.
*Bella Kolajo got first with her cake.
*Adrianna Garcia got first with her bread, it also was reserve champion for the bread group.
***She was 1st in the candy and was Grand Champion.
***Adrianna has made the sale this Saturday with her champions

Cash Standford made the sale for his 1st place acrylic art painting.

If you are interested in donating to the Evant FFA buyers pool or know of anyone let Tiffany Humphrey or other board members know ASAP. Every donation counts. They will use those funds to purchase projects this Saturday.
There is much more to come with Ag Mech, poultry and rabbits showing Wednesday.
Awards for Home Economics will be at 4 pm starting with junior age division.
